Condolence: My heart smiles with memories of Gert, and her love for my brother Ray. She brought him happiness and comforting companionship and endured the devastating loss of Ray to Pancreatic Cancer at the young age of 48. She lived long as his widow. She was a feisty Irish Woman and you knew what was on her mind! She brought my family pleasure, being especially kind to my mother. My children, my husband Bill and I enjoyed Gert and are saddened by her death. She was generous and thoughtful and her love lives on in the wonderful Murphy family who without question was the joy of her life. God's love showed through Gert and now welcomes her home. I'm thankful that she is part of my life and my dear Sister-in-law.
