Obituary for Arthur J. Kaulfers

Arthur J. Kaulfers, 84, a lifelong resident of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Monday.
Arthur was a graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick receiving a degree in Chemistry.
He was a Polymer Chemist for Cookson Products in Newark for many years.
Arthur was an Usher at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park for 60 years.
He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Helen Kaulfers, two sisters Helen K. Dziemian and Alice Ferguson, brother Alfred Kaulfers, and two beloved children Sgt. Robert M. Kaulfers, P.A.P.D., and Karen A. Kaulfers.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 65 years Julia Kelly Kaulfers, four loving children Jack and his wife Emily, Susan K. Nerbak, Edward and his wife Janine, and Carol K. Visconti and her husband Antonio, and a daughter-in-law Luz “Cookie” Kaulfers, 10 cherished grandchildren Timothy and his wife Nicole, Meredith, Charles, Nicholas, Allison, Jonathan, Michael, Rebecca, Brian, and Megan, and one adored great-grandson Alejandro.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
