Roland Mastapeter, 94, of Iselin, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11am in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Interment will follow at Rosedale Memorial Park in Linden. Please be at the funeral home 10am.
Visitation is 5 to 8pm on Wednesday.
Born and raised in the Peterstown Section of Elizabeth, NJ, Roland lived in Iselin for over 60 years.
He was a pipe fitter for Merck Pharmaceutical in Rahway, NJ.
Roland proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II.
He was a member and past president of the Woodbridge Senior Citizens and member and past president of the Creslin Boys Club in the Peterstown Section of Elizabeth.
Roland is predeceased by his beloved wife Iolene and his dear brother P. Arthur Mastapeter.
He is blessed and survived by four loving daughters and their spouses Rolynn and her husband Frank, Darlene and her husband JD, Arlene and her husband Bobby, and Patilynn and her husband Mike; 11 adored grandchildren Chrissy, Richard, Dawn, Jamie, Ashley, Kelliann, Caitlin, Erin, Toni, Michael, and Samantha; and 16 cherished great-grandchildren Christopher, Ava, Cooper, Tanner, Mason, Kyleigh, Cayla, Madison, Emilee, Morgan, Tyler, Riley, Dylan, Connor, Ryan, and Kayla.
