Florine N. Hohweiler, (nee: Nicoletti), 81, of Linden, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 5, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitation will be Saturday 3 to 7pm.
Born in Newark, NJ, Florine lived in Linden for 38 years.
She was a School Crossing Guard for the City of Rahway for 10 years.
Florine was a member of Jaycette Auxiliary Linden Jaycee, Motivation Plus for Special Children, coordinator for Day Care Summer Camp for handicap children, organized the first Little Miss Linden Pageant for the Jaycee in 1973 all of Linden, and a member of the Rosary Alter Society at St. Theresa’s Church in Kenilworth.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward D. Hohweiler.
Surviving are four loving sons Gregory, Roger, Wayne, and Daniel Hohweiler and his wife Alice; three dear brothers John, James, and Jay Nicoletti; four adored grandchildren; and two cherished great-grandchildren.
