Obituary for Michael T. Killian

Michael T. Killian, 58, of Bayville, NJ, formerly of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2019 after a long illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm with a prayer service at 7:30pm, in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Cemetery is private.

Born in Newark, NJ, Michael was raised in Kenilworth, NJ before retiring to his dream home in Bayville, NJ, that he designed several years ago.

He received a degree in electronics technology from the Metropolitan Technical Institute and was a licensed electrician for White Castle Bakery in Avenel, NJ. He also was employed at J & J and Merck, prior to that he was the owner and operator of All Current Electric.

Michael was an avid card player and enjoyed his trips with his mother to Atlantic City. He was also a wonderful cook and loved his family gathering dinners. Michael loved boating, fishing in the Bay, tending to his garden and was a talented handyman.

He is predeceased by his loving father Charles J. Killian in 1992.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Karen J. (nee: Gorski) Killian, loving mother Margaret (nee: Senick) Killian, six siblings dear Charles J. Killian II and his wife Susan, Margaret Killian, Mary Ganley and her husband John, John Killian and his wife Debra, Annette Kropp and her husband Richard, and Patricia Killian and her husband A. J. DeLuca, dear mother-in-law and father-in-law Grace and Joseph Gorski, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
