Obituary for Joseph G Casamento
Joseph Casamento 53 of Kenilworth passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at home. Born in Guttenberg, he resided in Hillside before moving to Kenilworth where he lived for the last 25 years.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral mass will be on Wednesday at 10:30am at St Theresa Church, Kenilworth. Cremation will be private. Friends & relatives can arrive on Wednesday at 9:15am.
Joe is survived by his wife Lisa (Martinez) and children Joseph, Alicia, Andrew and future daughter-in-law Lauren. He is also survived by his parents Paula Nowicki and Joseph Casamento, sisters, Laurie Casamento and Kristin Nowicki, and brothers Scott Casamento, Robert Nowicki, and Michael Nowicki, and his mother-in-law Rita and father-in-law Aurelio "Marty" Martinez. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was a store manager at Strauss Auto, and was proud to be a Journeyman for Sheet Metal Workers Local 25 in Carlstadt for 19 years.
Joe was a devoted father who loved his family and was dedicated to his children and wife. Joe loved vacationing with family down the shore and weekend football games with the family. Joe will be missed by his family and friends.
