Obituary for Gemma DeGregorio
Gemma DeGregorio, (nee: Spirito), 67, of Lincroft passed away at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, on May 25, 2019. Gemma was born & raised in Elizabeth before moving to Lincroft 18 years ago.
Memorial mass will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 10am, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Elizabeth. Cremation was private. Family & friends can meet at the church at 9:45am on Wednesday.
Gemma worked for her family's restaurant, Spirito's for many years before retiring as Administrator for the Elizabeth Board of Education.
She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Sylvia Spirito, and a brother in law, John Sporer.
Surviving is her husband Joseph; sisters, Beverlyanne Sporer, Margo Francis Berzito (Robert) & Toni Donna Morgan (Neal); sisters in law, Annie Barone, Rosemarie, Lucy & Annette; 2 nephews, 5 nieces, 8 great nephews & 3 great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joan Dancy & Pals Foundation (ALS), Riverview Medical Center, One Riverview Plaza, PO Box 8157, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
