Gerald J. Butler, Sr., 74, of Roselle, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2019.
A Memorial Gathering will be 2 to 4 on Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park.
Born in Newark, NJ, Gerald lived in Toms River before moving to Roselle 25 years ago.
He was a computer programmer with Courier System in Bayonne for 15 years, retiring 5 years ago, after his retirement he was the owner of Sophisticated Pooch in Clark.
Gerald served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy.
He is predeceased by his father James Butler.
Gerald is survived by his wife Sandra Zengewald Butler, three children Anthony Butler and his wife Jennifer, Gerald J. Butler, Jr. and his wife Stacie, and Tina Butler and her husband Louis Bonifaz, a grandson Gerald Bonifaz, his mother Evelyn Butler, and two brothers Thomas and Chip Butler.
