Obituary for Adele Prochaczek

Adele Prochaczek (90) peacefully departed on her final journey to meet with her beloved Johnny on September 27, 2023.

Adele was born in a rustic farming village in Poland. At the age of 16 Adele and her mother fled Poland to avoid the war and traveled to America. She settled in Jersey City with her parents. She then enrolled in classes to learn English. Throughout her life she held various jobs to help support the family. Her most memorable one being the time she spent working for Western Electric.

She had a fondness for Polkas, which is where she met her beloved Johnny at a Polish dance held in Dover. The young couple became smitten with one another and soon they were inseparable. They were married for over 65 years and raised four stunning and enchanting daughters.

Adele and John spent many years enjoying retirement between their homes in New Jersey and Florida. She was a food pusher and loved feeding anyone who stopped by for a visit. John unfortunately passed in October of 2022. After John's passing Adele enjoyed relaxing at their home in Toms River. She took great joy in having visitors and loving family members as many of them took time to check in with her to reminisce as well as catch up on everything that was new.

Adele leaves a legacy of love, affection and an appreciation of life and its many splendid blessings

She was predeceased by her parents - Walter and Apolonia Plucienik and her beloved Husband - John B. Prochaczek
