Agata “Tina” Emma (nee. Cacciola), 95, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2020.
Tina has been laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, NJ.
Born in Scordia, Sicily, Italy in 1924, Tina immigrated to the US on December 23,1966 with her late husband, Mario Emma, and their four sons, Giuseppe “Joe”, Francesco, Enrico and Maurizio. She lived in Elizabeth, NJ for the majority of her life in the United States. She is predeceased by her husband, Mario Emma, and she leaves behind her sons, Joe Emma and his wife Rita; Franco Emma and his wife Enza; Enrico Emma and his partner Hilda, Maurice Emma, and her 9 grandchildren, Patricia Emma Sharkey, Christina Emma Bove, Mario Emma, Francesca Emma Wilson, Daniele Emma, Christian Emma, Briana Morrison, Anthony Emma and Michael Emma; 8 great grand children and countless nieces and nephews.
Tina will be remembered fondly by her children and grandchildren for her soft and sweet demeanor, her love of singing and dancing and her devotion to her family. She also enjoyed traveling back to her hometown of Scordia to visit her family and friends.
