Obituary for Anna Marie Placko (Notte)
Anna Marie Placko, (nee: Notte), 75, of Brick, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Services on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 10am. Please be at the funeral home 9am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 3 to 7pm.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home over the nose and over the mouth, 50 people are allowed into the funeral home at a time also contact tracing is strictly enforced.
Born in Newark, NJ, Anna Marie lived in Hillside, and Garwood, before settling to Brick 5 years ago.
She worked for Atlantic Freight in Elizabeth for many years, retiring 12 years ago.
Anna Marie is predeceased by her beloved husband, John W. Placko, three dear brothers, Sonny Notte, Louis Notte, and James Notte, and two dear sisters, Esther Savarin and Della Weinberg.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, two dear sister-in-law’s, Doris Kovach and her husband Stan and Rhoda Anecki and dear brother-in-law, Martin “Buddy” Placko and his wife Sue.
