Barbara A Pakrul, 76, of Elizabeth, passed away at Elmora Hills Nursing Home, on September 8, 2022, after a brief illness. Born in Rahway, she was a life long resident of Elizabeth.
She worked at Elmora Hills Nursing & Rehab in the financing & billing department for 20 years before retiring in 2016, after being a vice president for National State Bank, Elizabeth for 30 years.
She was a graduate of the American Institute of Banking & President of the NJ Womens Banking Association. An avid reader, she also enjoyed world travel.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents James McCoy & Irene (Wickersty) McCoy and is survived by her husband Thomas of 55 years; brother, James W McCoy Jr & wife Joyce; sister Janet Barteaux & husband Cliff; 2 nieces Christina Barteaux & Cathleen McCoy & 2 nephews, Brian & Shawn McCoy.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
