She was predeceased by her husband Michael Pineiro, her mother Juaquina Rodríguez and father Luis Val. She is survived by her daughter Maria Val Pineiro, son Michael Pineiro and grandson Luis Silva.

A funeral mass will be held at Shrine of Saint Joseph 1050 Long Hill Road Stirling NJ 07980. Mass will be private.
