Obituary for Damien Hinton
Damien Hinton, 69, passed peacefully at his home in Whiting, NJ on July 15th, 2022.
Damien, formerly of Kenilworth, began his career as a mechanic at sixteen years of age and became a skilled expert in his trade. Working as a mechanic was his passion and he enjoyed helping customers any way that he could.
Damien was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Malanga Hinton, father, Everett Wayne Hinton, brothers James Hinton and Patrick Hinton, and sister Marlene Sussko. Damien is survived by his partner Michele Rustick, daughters Michele Hinton, Tara Heuschkel and her husband Scott, and step-daughter Michele Cruz. Damien is also survived by his four grandchildren, Lisa Marie Lugara and her husband Anthony, Brian Layden, Nicholas Heuschkel, and Faith Layden. Damien has three great-grandchildren that he adored, Gianna, Daniella and Joseph Lugara. Damien is also survived by his brother Gary Hinton, and his sister Rosetta Erdman.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Damien’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial will take place Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 12pm to 2pm at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave. Roselle Park NJ.
