Obituary for Daniel James Laccitelli Jr.
Daniel James Laccitelli, Jr, 89, a lifelong resident of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 8:45am. A funeral mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 2 to 6pm on Sunday.
Daniel lived in Roselle Park for 89 years. He received a B A from Kean College and a master’s degree from Rutgers University.
He worked in advertising and as a psychotherapist and a published writer and artist.
Daniel is predeceased by his parents, Daniel J. and Margaret (nee: Colucci) Laccitelli and a brother Joseph Laccitelli.
Surviving are two nieces and one nephew, Margaret Mary L. Gatto and her husband Chris, Denise Laccitelli-Chmiel and her husband John, and Joseph Laccitelli, three great-nephews and three great-nieces Alex, Kyle, Matthew, Sophia, Catherine and Samantha. Also surviving are six beloved friends Eddie and Nelly Dilly, Michael Crane, Regina Burchala, Richard Glass and Philomena Zito.
