Obituary for Elizabeth Kielbasa

Mrs. Elizabeth Kielbasa (Schubert), age 92, passed away peacefully on August 18th, 2020 at Center for Hope Hospice in Elizabeth. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on February 2, 1928, daughter of the late Max and Elisabeth Schubert.

Elizabeth married Benjamin Kielbasa on February 9, 1946 and was a resident of Roselle Park for over 70 years. Elizabeth had five children and was a homemaker until she began working at several jobs, including Galloping Hill Inn, Hexacon Electric, and as a crossing guard for many years in Roselle Park near Sherman School.

She loved playing bingo, cooking, baking, and watching sports, especially her New Jersey Devils. She also loved traveling with her children and grandchildren.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Benjamin, her son Richard, and her five siblings.

She will be missed dearly by her 4 children, Laura Masterson and husband Michael, Susan Lammerding and husband Richard, Benjamin Kielbasa, and Karl Kielbasa. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
