Obituary for Evelyn L. Hart Poschner (Bennett)
Evelyn L. Hart Poschner, (nee: Bennett), 94, a lifelong Kenilworth, NJ resident passed peacefully to her heavenly home on Friday, May 29, 2020.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Mastapeter Funeral Home in Roselle Park, NJ.
A private entombment was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
Evelyn was a woman of strong opinions and a sharp mind.
She was a devoted homemaker and loved to garden. She also was an avid knitter and sewer, making many sets of curtains and cushions for her home, as well as square/round dancing dresses with matching shirts for her late husband Karl.
Evelyn enjoyed traveling with Karl in their Avion trailer and the camaraderie of the New Jersey Unit of the Avion club.
A communicant of The Church of St. Theresa in Kenilworth, Evelyn was active in the Rosary Society for many years and also spent many happy hours with the Kenilworth Seniors.
Evelyn is predeceased by Kenneth R. Hart, her loving husband of 20 years; her beloved husband Karl G. Poschner, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage; a dear son Thomas R Hart; and a dear stepdaughter Janet Lewan.
She is survived by her son Kenneth B. Hart and his wife Joan; daughter-in-law Karen Hart; stepdaughter Lois Borlase and her husband George; stepdaughter Margaret Chapman and her husband Michael; nine adored grandchildren Brian (Noelle), Kimberly (Chris), Kenneth (Katie, Andrea, George, Michelle, Jessica, Allison (Alex), and Clinton; and four cherished great-grandchildren Jeremy, William, Sophia, and Arabella.
