Frank F. Leonardis, Jr, 77, of Watchung, NJ, formerly of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am.
Cemetery will be private.
Visitation is on Sunday 3 to 8pm.
Born in Newark, NJ, Frank lived in Roselle Park for many years before settling to Watchung 3 years ago.
He was a Lieutenant for the City of Newark Police Department for 30 years, retiring in 1994.
Frank was a member of the Superior Officers Association.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 52 years; Viola (nee: Lewis) Leonardis, Three loving sons; Frank J. Leonardis and his wife Teresa, Michael Leonardis and his wife Stephanie, and Marc Leonardis and his wife Mandee, and five cherished grandchildren; Samantha, Frank, Angela, Jalyn, and Marc.
