Obituary for Frank Ruggiero
Frank Ruggiero, 81, of Kenilworth, passed away at home after a brief illness on August 5, 2023. Born in Italy in 1942, he immigrated to America with his family in 1952, and settled in Kenilworth, residing there until his death.
Frank worked for Pabst Brewing Company in Newark until 1985, and then for the New Jersey Department of Transportation until his retirement. He was married to Sheila (née Wagner) in 1975. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Raffaela (1998) and Filippo (1970), as well as his brother Joseph (1991). He is survived by his children, Frank Michael (John Erdody) of Madison and Michelle Dawn (David Lynch) of Bridgewater. Also surviving him are his brother and sisters, Angelo (Barbara), Carmela (Salvatore), Angela, and his niece and nephews who lovingly cared for him in his final days. His memory will also live on through his grandson, Evan James Lynch.
Services will be held on Monday, August 14 at Mastapeter Funeral Home, followed by burial at Gate of Heaven in East Hanover.
