Obituary for Howard W. Reithel
Howard W. Reithel of Roselle NJ passed away Thursday October 13, 2022.
“Howie” was a lifelong resident of Roselle, leaving only shortly to serve in the United States Air Force. After the Air Force, he attended Embry Riddle for Airplane Mechanics.
When Howard returned home to NJ, he started working at DUPONT in Newark NJ alongside his Father, and Brother. When DUPONT closed down, he then worked for GENTEK in Avenel NJ.
Howard was a Die Hard New York Rangers Fan. He was a season ticket holder for over 50 years, hardly ever missing a game. You could catch him before the game at The Blarney Stone across the street from Madison Square Garden. Howard also enjoyed the movies and has an extensive collection. He was a member of the VFW Post 1397 out of Linden NJ, and made many friends there.
Howard was predeceased by his Father (Howard E. Reithel) and Mother (Myra Roessle)
Howard left behind, his brother Ronald who has been his caretaker the past 3 years, Nephew Ron, (Wife Amy) and 2 great nephews, Charles and Benjamin Reithel, and sister in law Cheryl Lynn Allen.
