Obituary for Jo Ann Rieder
Jo Ann Rieder, 72, of Union, passed away at Clark Nursing Home, on September 5, 2022. Born in Newark, she lived in East Orange before moving to Union 45 years ago.
She was a legal secretary with the New Jersey State Superior Court in Union, Hudson and Essex Counties for 26 years, retiring in 2016.
Jo Ann was a member of the Union Elks and will missed by all who knew her.
Jo Ann was predeceased by her sister Mary Elizabeth Hartman and survived by her husband Carl of 41 years; her step children Elizabeth Allocco & husband Nicholas & Carl III & wife Susan; 3 grandchildren, Luke & Isabel Allocco & Carl Rieder IV.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 9-11am at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 10:45am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association,
