Jon Brian Lanza
July 13th, 1962 – July 28th, 2020
IN LOVING MEMORY
Jon Brian Lanza, 58, of Springfield, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Jon was born in Elizabeth, NJ and raised in Chatham and Springfield, NJ. He is a graduate of Oratory Prep Boys High School and Seton Hall University. Jon also served in the United States Navy.
Beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Jon was loved by those who knew him. He will be greatly missed, but lovingly remembered for his love of life, music, sports, and travel, his generosity, his love for the Lord, and the love he had for his family and friends.
He is predeceased by his father (John Richard Lanza) and mother (Josephine Lanza, nee: Picone). Jon is survived by his loving sister Natalie A. Lanza as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
