Obituary for Joseph F. Salfi
Joseph F. Salfi, 79, of Brick, NJ, formerly of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, 21, 2022 at 10am in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Please be at the funeral home at 9:30am. Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation will be 3 to 6pm on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Born in Roselle Park, NJ, Joseph lived in New Brunswick, before moving to Brick 20 years ago.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era.
Joseph was a Roselle Park Police Officer for 25 years, retiring 27 years ago.
He was a member of the P.B.A. Local 27 of Roselle Park.
Joseph is predeceased by his two sisters, Shirley Garrigan and Diane Mulry, and partner Barbara McMaster.
He is survived by his sister Marie E. Knapp and her husband Sid, step-daughter Lisa McMaster, two brother-in-law’s Anthony Garrigan and George Mulry. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
