Juan Carlos Silva, 70, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park handled the arrangements.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Florida.
Born in Manzanillo, Cuba, Juan Carlo came to the United States and settled in New York City before moving to West Palm Beach, FL, and then Elizabeth, 12 years ago.
He was an electrician for Roselle Park Board of Education, retiring 10 years ago.
Juan Carlos is survived by his wife Amarilis, five children Johnny, Alex, Elisha, Sondra, and Christy, two brothers Ramon Victor Silva Coll and Michael Silva, two sisters Enedina Rose and Marta Lucia Silva, and seven grandchildren.
