Obituary for Karsten M Nickel Jr.
Karsten Nickel Jr. 59, of Flemington, NJ passed away on February 4, 2024.
Karsten was born in Elizabeth and lived as a young child in Roselle. His family moved to Kenilworth at the age of 10 and graduated from David Brearley Regional High School in Kenilworth in 1982. He was an owner/operator of a Towing business for over 35 years in New Jersey.
Karsten is predeceased by his loving mother, Mary (O'Neill) Nickel and is survived by his father, Karsten Sr., his brother, William (wife Colleen) Nickel, 2 nephews, 1 niece, 3 aunts and 10 cousins.
Karsten enjoyed spending time with friends and being outdoors. He had a passion for cars, trucks and bargain shopping. He had a very big heart, was a very giving person and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 17th from 1-3pm at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ 07204.
