Obituary for Kevin Harms

Kevin Harms of Budd Lake NJ passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family the same way he lived his life with grace, dignity, and love. Kevin was 60 years young. Kevin was pre-deceased by his parents George & Elsie as well as his siblings Gregory, James & Keith and sister-in-law Georgette [Daniel]

Kevin loved his family deeply and unconditionally. He is survived by his son’s Jonathan of Parsippany, Christopher and his wife Kelly and grandson Charlie of Montville. His siblings Daniel, Bernadette Cavanaugh and her husband Daniel, Michelle Farrell and her husband James and his sister-in-law Lorraine [Greg] along with many nieces and nephews.

Growing up in Kenilworth, Kevin’s business success began by befriending a young couple who owned a card and poster factory, and he became Jr. Director of Sales selling door to door. If you knew Kevin, you already know he would use this money buying candy and snacks for the neighborhood kids as well as his siblings from Park Sausage on the next corner.

His love for engine’s was fueled by spending time with his brothers, building all kinds of motors or working on cars. This passion led to the beginning of his rewarding career. Rondo Industries building industrial mixers, Coca Cola, and Whitlock packaging.

Deeply rooted being a dad in Rockaway NJ, Kevin established Correct Services and went on to become one of if not the top bakery equipment expert in America. Everyone who came across Kevin knew him as a person who truly cared about his customer’s personal and business needs.

All his hard work led to his greatest creation his boy’s Jonathan and Christopher and his amazing grandson Charlie. He taught those young men how to be kind, humble, and to work for what you need in life.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 19th [5:00 -7:00 pm] at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Fatigue Ave, Roselle Park, with entombment Thursday, July 20th [10am] at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Kevin will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
