Obituary for Lillian C Ciemniecki

Lillian C. Ciemniecki, 92, passed away on November 7, 2021 at the Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Lillian was born in Jersey City NJ, to William and Madeline (Maffei) Boffa. She spent her early years in Jersey City then moved to Roselle Park.

During these years Lillian worked alongside her father and learned the bookkeeping profession. She continued using her skills working alongside her brothers and then branched out to other companies later in life. She married her true love Henry (Hank) in 1955 and eventually moved to Kenilworth. It was in Kenilworth, where she raised her children and enjoyed many wonderful years with family and friends. In 1991,

Lillian and her husband retired to Tucson Arizona where she enjoyed the warm desert climate, beautiful mountain views and spent time volunteering at Catholic Daughters and other community-minded organizations, Lillian also enjoyed making puzzles and playing Bingo with her friends. She was still settling in when her primary focus became taking care of Hank, who became ill during their time in Arizona. He passed in 1999. Lillian managed to continue on, spreading her nurturing kind hearted ways to all she came in contact with. In 2012 Lillian moved back to New Jersey to be closer to her daughters and their families. She never stopped meeting new people and genuinely cared for the people in her life. Her smile could light up a room and the Lord's spirit resided within her heart.

She always found time to pray for anyone who was in need, and always included her family and friends. Her kindheartedness, fun-loving and thoughtful ways will be greatly missed and the memories of all the wonderful moments we have shared will never be forgotten.

Lillian was predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years, Henry Ciemniecki, her parents William and Madeline Boffa, a brother Salvatore Boffa and several brother and sister-in-laws. Surviving are her loving daughters, Kathleen Enners (husband Dan) and Arleen Skuya (husband Mike), brother William Boffa Jr (wife Anna), grandsons Daniel and Edward Enners (wife Mercedes), granddaughter Christine Scott (husband Christopher), great grandchildren, Vanessa and Kaleb, sister-in-law Genevieve Cree and Anna Crown along with many nieces and nephews.
