Obituary for Louise Kovacs (Bemelmans)
Louise Kovacs, (nee: Bemelmans), 103, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Birchwood Nursing Center in Cranford.
She was born in the Netherlands, coming to the United States in the 1940’s residing in Irvington, NJ, then Kenilworth with her son for almost 40 years.
Louise was employed by Prudential Insurance Company in Newark for many years.
Louise enjoyed Bingo and trips to Atlantic City.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Stephen Kovacs.
Louise is survived by four children, Marie Kovacs, Carol Ann Boniface, Stephanie Kushnier and her husband Harry, and Steven Kovacs and his wife Daria.
She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition, relatives in her native Holland mourn her loss.
