Obituary for Madalena C Varela
Madalena Conceicao Alves Varela passed away on December 28, 2020. Madalena was born on September 8, 1939 to Jose & Maria Alves. She came to the US from Portugal in 1967 and lived in Elizabeth before moving to Union in 2000.
She is survived by 5 children, son, Emidio; daughters, Celia, Maria Irene, Maria Helena & Maria Rosa; grandchildren Brianna, Angelica, Anthony, AManda & Jessica; 2 great grand sons, Gabriel & Logan; 2 brothers, & many nieces & nephews.
She was beloved & will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 9am at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral mass will follow at 10am at Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park, with burial to follow at St Gertrudes Cemetery, Colonia.
