Obituary for Margaret A Knapp
Margaret A. Knapp, (nee: Donnellan), 71, of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020.
Visitation will be 4 to 7pm on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. All are to meet at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park for a 10am Funeral Mass on Friday, July 10, 2020. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Growing up in Cranford, NJ, Margaret settled to Roselle Park in the 1970’s.
She was a 1967 graduate of Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains.
Margaret worked for a variety of manufacturing and technology companies over the years as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant.
She enjoyed the Jersey Shore, cruises and will be deeply missed for her sense of humor and love of life especially for her family and friends. She studied the Bible for a spiritual and historical understanding of God and the life of Jesus.
Margaret is predeceased by her dear parents Patricia and John McGee, a dear sister Patricia McGee, two loving daughters Danielle and Kristen McLeod.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years Richard Knapp, loving son Peter J. McLeod and his wife Jennifer, adored Nana of two grandchildren Peter R. and Alyssa, two dear sisters Kelly Anne McGee and her husband Bill Janowski and Jackie Carney and her husband Michael, and two nephews.
Margaret had a heart of gold loving her family above all.
