Obituary for Michael Anthony Marro
Michael Anthony Marro was born in Dunedin, Florida, April 15, 1971. On October 21, 2019, Michael passed away in Clearwater, Florida.
He was the son of Sharon Frunzi of Dunedin, Florida, and Frank Marro of Clermont, Florida. He is survived by his parents and his sister Kelly Elaine Marro, and his niece and nephew Sophia and Cameron Marro as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael graduated from Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, FL, in 1989. After graduation, he enlisted in the army where he won numerous awards for missile assembly and map reading and planning. He was discharged at the end of Desert Storm. Returning home, he worked both in Florida and New Jersey as a fundraiser for various charitable organizations. He was the top producer many times throughout his career. He also ran his own car detailing business.
Michael loved sports and was a huge fan of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team, attending as many games as possible.
He will be laid to rest with his late grandparents, Frank and Jean Marro of Roselle Park, NJ. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Frances Virginia Roberts of Dade City, FL.
Donations can be made in Michael's name to the Epilepsy Foundation.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
