Obituary for Pasquale J Scorese
Pasquale J Scorese, 93, of Union, NJ, son of Savino and Marie Carmela (DiGiovanni) passed away on November 17, 2020, at Overlook Medical Center, Summit after a brief illness.
Pat was born in Elizabeth and lived in Kenilworth most of his life before moving to Union 30 years ago. He was a WWII veteran and served in the US Marine Corp. He also owned and operated Quality Decorators, in Kenilworth, with his brother Ronald for over 60 years. He took great pleasure in owning and racing his horses.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Jean Scorese, and his daughters and their spouses, Carmela and Daniel Murphy, Jean and Steven Majocha, Diane and Ronald Melusky and Rita and Robert Regimbal. His brothers, Ronald and Richard and 15 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons Pasquale and David, and brother Carmen.
Visitation will be on Monday from 3-4pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle, Park. Funeral service and burial are private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VFW Kenilworth.
