Obituary for Patricia Jobe

Patricia Jobe (Gordon), 66, of Roselle Park, NJ, peacefully passed away on March 9th, 2024,
surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, on April 15, 1957, Patricia was a cherished daughter of Mary and Henry
Gordon. She graduated from the Academy of Saint Aloysius in Jersey City and embarked on a
fulfilling career as a medical assistant, where her warmth and compassion endeared her to both
staff and patients. In 1984, Patricia married the love of her life, William Jobe.
Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia's life centered around her family.
She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising her three children, Alyssa, Rebecca (Vincent
Bonassisa), and Alexander, and recently reveled in the joy of becoming a grandmother to Briella.

Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she actively participated in the
community, serving as a Girl Scout Troop leader, PTA president, and contributing to the local
Youth Softball/Baseball organization.

Patricia's fondest memories were crafted during family vacations at her beloved Bahamas resort,
and her leisure time was often spent enjoying game shows. She enjoyed many years participating
alongside her daughters in both dance and martial arts classes where she earned her first degree
black belt. She leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and community service.

Patricia is survived by her spouse of 40 years, William, her children Alyssa, Rebecca (Vincent
Bonassisa), and Alexander, and granddaughter Briella. Additionally, she leaves behind step-sons
Brian (Rachel Jobe) and Andrew (Elisa Jobe) Jobe, along with four more cherished
grandchildren. Patricia is also survived by her sisters, Mary Dewys and Janet Stevens, as well as
numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Henry Gordon, and
sisters Joanne Crutcher and Jean Stocking.

A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Mastapeter
