Obituary for Peter Scaturro
Peter Scaturro, 75, of Linden, passed away on November 12, 2022 at Trinitas Medical Center, Elizabeth. Born in Elizabeth, he lived on Loomis St in Elizabeth most of his life on before moving to Westfield and settling in Linden.
Peter was a loving father of Peter Scaturro who passed away in 1993. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon; son, Anthony; daughter MaryGrace Pepin; granddaughter Serena Slyh as well as many nieces & nephews & great nieces & nephews.
Peter worked as a traffic maintenance worker for the City of Elizabeth for 30 years and was a long time member of the West End Club, Roselle Park. He enjoyed bowling, played poker most of his life and loved his scratch offs. His friends used to call him "Pepper Pete" or "Pinball Pete" and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home with burial to follow at St Gertrudes Cemetery, Colonia.
