Obituary for Rosa Pisano (Tropeano)
Rosa Pisano, (nee: Tropeano), 97, of Elizabeth, NJ passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park on Monday, March 22, 2021 with a visitation 9 to 11:30am. A Funeral Mass will follow to St. Genevieve Church in Elizabeth at 12noon. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ONLY 45 PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT A TIME. MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES OVER THE NOSE AND OVER MOUTH. SOCIAL DISTANCING IS ALSO ENFORCED AND CONTACT TRACING.
Born in Avellino, Italy Rosa came to the United States in 1964, settling to Elizabeth, NJ.
She loved spending time with her late husband and six children who always were everything to her. Always smiling and loved her family and friends and had a heart of gold.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Pellegrino Pisano, two dear brothers, Antonio and Angelo Tropeano and a brother-in-law Carmine Ridente. Surviving are six loving children, Tina Greenberg, Carla McDermott and her husband Edward, John Pisano, Lore Aprile, Maris Pisano and Jack Staba, and Pete Pisano and his wife Lucy, dear sister of, Maria Ridente and Carmen Tropeano and his wife Anna, two sister-in-laws Ellen and Rosa Tropeano, five adored grandchildren, Carin, John, Steven, Chaz, and Reno, three cherished great-grandchildren, Connor, Giovanni, and Xeno.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
