Rosalie A. Renna, (nee: Francaviglia), 89, of Scotch Plains, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation is 4 to 8pm Monday.
Born and raised in Linden, NJ, Rosalie moved to Scotch Plains, NJ 23 years ago.
She worked for the Linden City Board of Education as a teacher of cosmetology for 12 years, prior to that she owned her own beauty salon Rosalie’s Beauty Salon.
Rosalie is predeceased by her beloved husband Frank D. Renna and an adored grandson Kyle Moore.
Surviving are three loving daughters Susan V. Pennica and her husband Peter, Frances T. Moore and her husband Michael, and Rosemary A. Schreiber and her husband Mitchell; a dear brother Joseph Francaviglia; a dear sister Anna Bryan; six adored grandchildren Michael and his wife Leah, Stephanie and her husband Simon, Michael and his wife Amanda, Ryan, Steven, and Kerri; and two cherished great-granddaughters Isabella and Juliet.
