Obituary for Scarlett Donnarumma
Scarlett Donnarumma, (formerly Scarlett Patrick), age 81, died at Rahway Hospital on November 23, 2020. She was a resident of Roselle Park for 35 years.
Scarlett graduated Rahway High School in 1957 & Union County College in 1977. She was a practicing dental hygienist and Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine until her retirement in 2015.
Throughout her more than 50 year career, she was loved and admired by her countless students, patients & colleagues. She exemplified professional excellence as both practitioner and educator, and dedicated her entire life to the pursuit of peace, equality & social justice.
Scarlett was predeceased by her brother Steven and is survived by her husband of 50 years, Alfred; daughter Rebecca & wife Tara; son Michael & wife Benfry; father in law, Enrico and sisters in law Margaret & Mary.
Cremation will be private. Arrangements under the direction of Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Planned Parenthood of New Jersey.
