Thomas E. Hanlein, age 80, of Monroe, NJ, passed away on February 12, 2024 after a brave battle with cancer. Thomas is predeceased by his wife Darlene and grandson Thomas. He will be missed by all and he leaves behind his devoted long time partner Patricia Stotzer; his daughter Jeanette and son-in-law Jason, son Michael and daughter-in-law Patty, and daughter Stacie; and his grandchildren Timothy, Samantha, Aiyden, Madeline, Jason, Darlene and Natalie; and his great grandson Cole.

Tom was a Vietnam veteran and a retired captain of the Hillside fire department. He enjoyed living life on the edge and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and driving fast cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his partner Patty and his family. He was a devoted deacon of the Rossmoor community church but could frequently be found at the roulette table. God bless you!

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-7 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth
