Obituary for Thomas F Nardone
Thomas (Tommy) Nardone of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 2nd, 2024, with his family by his side at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ.
Tommy was the first child born to Frank and Marie Nardone (Trippiedi) of Elizabeth, NJ on July 18th, 1938. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, MaryAnn Jankowski of Toms River, NJ.
Tommy was a 1956 graduate of Thomas Edison High School in Elizabeth, NJ. After graduation, he joined the National Guard and remained there for 10 years.
In 1960, Tommy took a plane to Sicily and there he married the love of his life, Rosa Amico. In 1965, they purchased a home in Roselle Park where they lived and raised 2 children, Frank Nardone of Rahway and Maria Nardone Krynicki of Rahway. Tommy and Rosa have 4 grandchildren. Tommy Krynicki, Matthew Krynicki, Alex Krynicki and Sarah Krynicki. They also have 1 great-grandchild, Maris Rose Krynicki.
Tommy retired from his job with General Motors, Linden, NJ in 2003 after 35 years of service. While employed with General Motors, he was a member of their softball and bowling teams.
Tommy and Rosa had a beautiful life together and they would have celebrated 64 years of marriage this July. They enjoyed traveling all over and they purchased a 35ft trailer which is parked up in Sussex County in a camping association. Here they camped, swam and socialized with wonderful friends that they had meant while owning this for the past 45 years.
Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He was quite a jokester and had many wonderful friends, some since childhood.

Viewing Wednesday March 6th 4pm-8pm at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ 07204. Funeral Mass will be 10am at Church of the Assumption, 113 Coolidge Place, Roselle Park, NJ with interment following at Rosedale Cemetary, Linden,NJ.
