Vincent Di Cecco, 93, of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 8:30am. A funeral mass will be offered 10am at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park. Entombment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation will be 3 to 7pm on Friday September 30, 2022.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Vincent lived in Roselle Park for 64 years.
He was a foreman for the Union County Mosquito Control in Scotch Plains for 40 years, retiring 31 years ago and a Union Mason in Union.
Vincent was a member of the Italian American Club in Scotch Plain, Planning and Zoning Commission in Roselle Park, Holy Name Society Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, and the Casano Center in Roselle Park.
He was an avid golfer and card player.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 69 years, Phyllis (nee: Di Cosmo) Di Cecco, two loving children, Vincent Di Cecco, III and his wife Karin and Katherine Flannery and her husband Mark, dear brother Rocco Di Cecco, seven adored grandchildren, Mark, Danielle Garfield and her husband Jason, Meagan, David, Dominic and his wife Kate, Anthony and his wife Samantha, and Matteo and eight cherished great-grandchildren, Ava, Ethan, Carter, Reagan, Oliver, Milo, Marie and Joie.
