Obituary for Charles Fuchs


Charles Fuchs, 64, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Sunday, November 30, 2014 with a service at 7pm.
Born in Elizabeth, Charles was raised in Roselle, living in Brick before settling to Point Pleasant 33 years ago.
He was a diesel mechanic for High Grade Beverage in South Brunswick, retiring 12 years ago, prior to that he worked for International Harvester in Linden.
Charles was a boating enthusiast and he was well loved by his community.
He is predeceased by his former wife Arleen Gauer.
Surviving are two daughters Arleen K. LaMorte and her husband Patrick and Kristin T. McHale and her husband Kevin; two “stepchildren” Catherine Higgins and Elliott Gauer; two sisters Trudy Fuchs and Mary Louise Pacheco; two grandchildren Katelyn and Patrick. Also surviving is a nephew and godson Drew; niece Jaime; and nephew Jon.
