Obituary for Joseph A. Miceli

Joseph A. Miceli, 91, of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at home.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of The Assumption in Roselle Park at 9:30am. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Visitation is 5 to 8pm on Thursday.
Born in Newark, Joseph lived in Roselle Park for 45 years.
He was a machinist for Airco Corp., in Union retiring many years ago, prior to that he owned luncheonettes in Newark and Long Branch. After retirement he was a security guard for Cosmair and worked in the seafood department at Kings Supermarket.
Joseph served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II.
He is predeceased by his parents Ferdinando and Domenica (nee: LaTorre) Miceli, brother Frank Miceli and a sister-in-law Lillie Miceli.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 51 years Cinzia (nee: Colosimo) Miceli, two loving daughters and their spouses Donna Agostino and her husband Joseph, II, and Sandra Lori Stark and her husband Robert, a dear sister Rosalie Ortelio and her husband Frank, five cherished grandchildren Nicoletta, Joseph, III, and Victoria Agostino and Nicholas and Matthew Stark. Also surviving are nieces and nephews Fred, Karen, Fred, Anthony, and Steven and their family.
