Obituary for Joseph P. McCoy
Joseph P. McCoy, 83, of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2014.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of The Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation is 7 to 9pm on Monday.
Born in Newark, NJ, Joseph lived in Leonardo, NJ, before moving to Roselle Park 40 years.
He was a welder for Superior Air Products in Kenilworth for 30 years, retiring 20 years ago.
Joseph was a Master Sergeant in the Army National Guard.
He is predeceased by his parents Luke and Mary (McGlone) McCoy.
Surviving are four nephews Francis Smullen and his wife Elizabeth, Howard Smullen and his wife Elizabeth, Dr. Brian Smullen and his wife Rebecca, and Kevin Smullen. Also surviving are seven great nieces and five great nephews.
