Rose M. "Rose Marie"  Loglisci (Colangelo)
Rose “Rose Marie” Loglisci, (nee: Colangelo), 77, of Clark, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on Monday, December 15, 2014.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10am in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. Please be at the funeral home 9am. Entombment is at Hollywood Cemetery in Union. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Friday.
Born in Newark, NJ, Rose lived in East Orange after getting married and moved to Cliffwood Beach before settling to Clark 44 years ago.
She was a devoted wife and mother who loved Christmas and Easter, old movies, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was very generous and a devoted member of Faith Fellowship Ministries of Sayreville, NJ.
Rose was a gentle, philosophical lady whose strong and unwavering faith in God sustained her throughout her life and her final illness.
She is predeceased by her loving son James Loglisci, Jr. and her parents Vincent and Katherine Colangelo.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 55 years James Loglisci, Sr.; two cherished children Nicholas Loglisci and his wife Gudrun and Lisa Engel and her husband John; three dear brothers Daniel and his wife Joanne, Vincent “Butch” and his wife Della, and Ronald Colangelo; and five adored grandchildren Christina, Kathleen, Amy, Stefanie, and Steven.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
