Obituary for Frances Nelson (Balnicki)
Frances Nelson, (nee: Balnicki), 103, of Roselle Park, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2015.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:30am in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, with a service at 11:30am in the funeral home.
Interment will follow to Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Born in New York City, NY, Frances lived in Garwood, NJ, before Roselle Park 85 years ago.
She was a buyer for Jersey State Electric Co. in Elizabeth for 28 years, retiring 39 years ago, prior to that she worked with her father at Balnicki Hardware in Garwood.
Frances was a member and a member of the women’s club at Roselle Community Methodist Church.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Albert Nelson; two dear sisters Helen Williams and Elizabeth Adams; and three dear brothers Martin, Albert, and William Balnicki.
Frances is survived by a dear sister Wilma Silwones.
Surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Roselle Community Methodist Church, 214 Sheridan Ave., Roselle, NJ, 07203 in Frances’s memory.
