Obituary for Julia M Tonzola (DeVito)
Julia M. Tonzola, (nee: DeVito), 96, of Roselle Park, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at home.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R.C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Entombment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Thursday.
Born and raised in Newark, Julia lived in Kenilworth for 7 years before moving to Roselle Park 30 years ago.
She worked in the cafeteria for the Newark Board of Education for 25 years before retiring 31 years ago.
Julia is predeceased by her beloved husband Dominick “Bing” Tonzola.
Surviving are three loving children Theresa Fuentes and her husband Carlos, Josephine Marino and her husband Sal, and Donna Tonzola; five cherished grandchildren Judy, Michael, David, Heather, and Joanna; and four adored great-grandchildren Alex, Erica, Dominick, and Augie.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association in Julia’s memory.
