Obituary for Dorothy V. Gulvas (Sydlo)
Dorothy V. Gulvas, (nee: Sydlo), of Kenilworth, passed away peacefully of Saturday, February 14, 2015.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Theresa R. C. Church in Kenilworth at 10am. Entombment will follow to Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
Visitation is 6 to 9pm on Monday.
Born in West Hazelton, PA, Dorothy moved to Kenilworth, NJ in 1958.
She was a LPN at Overlook Medical Center in Summit for many years, retiring many years ago.
Dorothy loved traveling to Las Vegas, bike riding, and walking.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Gulvas.
Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter Carlotta Swarden-Holton and her husband James Holton; adored grandson Mark Swarden; and her four cherished “babies”.
