Obituary for Robert C. Baker
Robert C. Baker, 43, of Roselle Park, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 8:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Visitation is 5 to 8pm on Wednesday.
Born in Newark, NJ, Rob lived in Roselle Park for many years.
Rob was affectionately known as “Bakes” to his close friends.
He loved to fish often at various locations including Canada and Alaska.
Rob is a 1989 graduate of Roselle Park High School where he excelled in baseball and basketball, earning All Conference and All County Recognition. He attended Union County College in Cranford, NJ.
He worked for Bio-Reference Labs in Elmwood Park, NJ and various security jobs.
Rob is predeceased by his loving brother Michael Baker.
He leaves behind his beloved parents Eva and Bob Baker and his dear grandmother Alina Lisewycz. Also surviving are many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
