Obituary for Gloria Vaccarino (Mirabelli)
Gloria Vaccarino, (nee: Mirabelli), 93, of Roselle Park, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2016.
Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Visitation will be on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
Born in Johnstown, PA, Gloria lived in Roselle Park, NJ for 63 years ago.
After retiring as the school secretary of Roselle Park High School, she enjoyed volunteering, especially at the Union Hospital Gift Shop, loved to bake and was an avid reader.
Gloria was a communicant of Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph J. Vaccarino, Jr., a dear brother Armand Mirabelli and a dear sister Olga Mirabelli.
Gloria is survived by three loving children Jay Vaccarino (Susan), Brooke Paskewich (Edward), and Leslie Vaccarino Lafferty (Joseph); a dear sister Evelyn Marranca; affectionately known as “Gigi” she leaves behind the following grandchildren Heather Emery (John), Christopher Paskewich (Liz), Brian Vaccarino, Kristin Vaccarino, and Kyle Lafferty; along with five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Roselle Park Veteran’s Memorial Library or Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park in Gloria’s memory.
