My hero -the warrior Mike Jachim

Mike was not only a man I loved he was my best friend.  Mike and I had an instant connection when we met almost three and half years ago. The first time he picked me up for a date he was in his work clothes and asked me if he could  take a shower at my house. Somehow, I trusted him and he did just that. He had never been in Brooklyn nor did he ever meet a career girl from NYC, non-traditional in every way. Somehow it made sense that he this NJ guy would meet this city girl and fall in love. We both fell hard for each other.

There are no accidents in life and it's no accident that we met. He quite literally had me at hello.

As strong as he was physically he was the kindest and most caring man I had ever met. He would as his mom said give you the shirt off his back. When he met me I was trying to recover from my grief of losing my mom 8 months earlier. I was a tough girl, battling through it all. Mike was a warrior like me, yet he was so tender and caring to myself and to my family. I liked to think that we helped each other.

Mike, I know you were an angel put on earth. I know you are watching down on me. I pray you have the peace that you were seeking. I will love you forever. Your kitten, Jenna
